Krk Bike Story

Krk Bike Story is cycling and gastronomy event that traditionally takes place on the island Krk one weekend in April and one in May. This event is organized by the local tourist boards on island Krk and it goes through the amazing cycling scenery from the sea up to the Moon’s plateau. There are six different organized cycling tours that vary from those for families with kids up to those for the cycling professionals.

During the organized cycling tours, cyclists have an opportunity to learn more about the local cultural heritage and explore the flavors of the local specialties such as dishes with asparagus, lamb, Krk’s cheese, homemade pasta šurlice and seafood specialties combined with the indigenous variety of the wine žlahtina.
